LOCATION GUIDE
HISTORY LINK: The history link will take you to a wiki page that will show you canon information about the area's history. Sometimes there is a lot more information there than we have space for below, which might help you put a picture of the place together, or even help you work out a player plot!
AREA: The Area description will tell you how the area currently looks, which most likely deviates from canon.
DANGERS: This describes the potential threats in the area, for example collapsing roofs, or orc packs in the area. The star system will tell you the general difficulty level of navigating this area safely. They are marked with 1 to 5 stars. 1 star being the least dangerous, and 5 stars being the most. Many 5 starred areas require mod approval for a player plot, and they are marked.
SPOILS: Spoils are the special rewards that you will find at each area. While usually what items you take are up to your judgment, please keep in mind that from a realistic standpoint, your character cannot take away every item on the list.

ANDÚNIË
HISTORY
AREA: Elven influence is strongly apparent in the architecture in the large city. In the area surrounding it, you may find wandering herds of unusually large and powerful oxen, which some may recognize as the Kine of Araw.
DANGERS: ★★
This area is free of corruption, however the Kine of Araw are strangely territorial and may rush or stampede.
SPOILS: Anything you might reasonably find in a port city. Please note that paper and cloth items (such as books) are waterlogged and unreadable.

ARMENELOS
HISTORY
AREA: Most of this city seems fairly normal for after the marring. However, in one area there lies the ruins of a very large, round temple made of dark stone. What remains of it has become a swampy area where danger lurks in the form of dumbledors and mewlips.
DANGERS: ★★★ (Temple Area Only)
Swarms of dumbledor.
Mewlips.
Characters who are affected by the presence of evil may experience headaches, dizziness, shortness of breath, and / or fainting spells in this area depending upon their tolerance.
SPOILS: (City Area:) Any normal items you might find in a capital city. Please note that paper and cloth items (such as books) are waterlogged and unreadable.
(Temple Area:) Miscellaneous occult items, including sacrificial blades.

MENELTARMA
HISTORY
AREA: Meneltarma is the highest peak on the island, and almost completely flat at the top. There’s something holy about this grassy plain. Those that walk here are compelled to remain silent. The quiet music can be heard clearly and without corruption here. A spiral staircase winds around the mountain top to allow for decent below, and a pillar in the center of the plain holds a palantir.

This area is free of corruption.

NINDAMOS
HISTORY
AREA: This marshland leading to the fishing village is home to the occasional mewlip or swarm of dumbledors. The shoreline and Nindamos proper is safe, but perpetually wet, as if it had just emerged from the sea. Many buildings are even covered in various corals and barnacles.

NOIRINAN
HISTORY

( BACK TO MAP )

OROMET
HISTORY
AREA: This tower, very near to Andúnië, houses a currently inactive palantir at the top of the winding staircase. While not much else can be found within, the view west serves as a warning: In the water a long shadowy figure slips in and out of the waves. It swims back and forth along the coast, as if guarding something. Behind it are a cloudy sight of storms in the distance.

Palantír Location
DANGERS:
The tower itself poses no threat.
SPOILS: A palantir
